Speakers Connexion

Speakers ConnexionThe Speakers Connexion seeks to connect high-quality speakers, preachers and leaders who convey a Christian message based on the foundations of the Wesleyan tradition to events and programs across the Wesleyan family and other various religious and non-profit charitable organizations.

Members of The Speakers Connexion sign an Agreement pledging to uphold the values and traditions of the Protestant Faith based upon the teachings of John and Charles Wesley.  In doing so they agree to the following guidelines as they accept speaking engagements for institutions and organizations related to our faith.

† We promise to be courteous and respectful to the context of our audience and our host/hostesses for each event.

† We will uphold our tradition by offering messages that are appropriate for the context of the audience including, but not limited to: youth in 6th – 12th Grades, young adults ages 18-30 and adults in youth ministry.

† We will honor the expectations of our hosting organizations by ensuring that our messages are biblically based and in harmony with the Wesleyan tradition.  (IE: If the hosting organization asks a member NOT to do an altar call, we will respect that organizations requests and ask FIRST before using or offering sacramental rites, etc. that may or may not be in the plan of the hosting organization.)

† As members of the Speakers Connexion we will do all in our power to encourage and promote the development of Adults in Youth Ministry through the work of The Youth Worker Movement.
